Chris O'Brien Lifehouse Chris O'Brien Lifehouse ''Improving Patients' Waiting Time Through Furniture" LOCATION: Sydney, NSW We were recently involved in the refurbishment of Chris O’Brien Lifehouse waiting rooms in Sydney. The project called “Waiting for Change” aimed at improving how cancer patients wait. From waiting for their diagnosis, to waiting for tests, treatment, results and many other reasons, patients spend a lot of time waiting. The project involved supplying patients with comfortable and practical spaces, giving the waiting rooms a more homely feel by adding some greenery and separating the seating arrangement to give patients their own space to rest or work in, as well as updating the furniture. We are very pleased that we could be a small part of this worthwhile project and could help make patient’s waiting experience a little more comfortable. Click here to find out more.
