Berry Street Berry Street "Bright, Contemporary, Playful" LOCATION: 266 Raglan Street Preston VIC 3072 DESIGNER: Merit Interiors PHOTOGRAPHER: Shannon McGrath In their recent collaboration for the Berry St Clinic, Merit Interiors and Tierney Property Group prioritised well-being to foster a sense of calm and focus for both patients and staff. Throughout the space, bespoke joinery solutions were seamlessly integrated with Berry St Clinic's needs, starting with the inviting reception counter that sets a welcoming tone. The project truly shines in the heart of the clinic - the kitchen spaces. Functional islands and a chic coffee station have become the natural hub for team interaction and focus. For the kitchen and kitchenette joinery, Merit Interiors opted for a captivating design narrative, pairing rich, dark-toned lower cabinetry with white overhead units and countertops, creating a striking visual balance. The Poppi chairs in a soft pink made with Ocean Bound Plastic offer a playful yet sophisticated seating option in the dining area, perfectly complemented by the natural white tops of our Halo square café tables. The indoor lounge area features our Madi chairs that introduce a pop of colour in this space. Our custom joinery takes centre stage - tiered seating with integrated planter boxes not only introduces biophilic elements but also serves as a visual and acoustic barrier, creating semi-private work zones that eliminate the need for traditional cubicles. Our Ava lounges, positioned next to floor-to-ceiling windows and paired with our Halo café tables, offer privacy for individual work or casual meetings. This design maximises natural light and incorporates surrounding greenery, further enhancing the relaxing atmosphere. Merit Interiors have transformed Berry Street into a space that inspires and uplifts everyone who walks through its doors.
